We have opened a new barber shop in Canley. This has been an exciting project for us at Kings Barbers Club as our new Canley barber shop is quite different to our other shops. We are working with Sainsbury’s supermarket and we opened our new addition in their car park.
From listening to our customers we understand it can’t always be easy to find time to take a quick trip to the barbers so we have made things easier. Our location in a popular supermarket car park means customers can combine their weekly shop with a trip for a trim.
At Kings Barbers Club we believe our customers should not have to sacrifice high quality grooming because of their hectic schedules. We are opening more shops, like our Canley shop, with easy and accessible locations so being able to enjoy the benefits of going to the barbers is not a difficult task.
Instead of an ordinary shop, the Canley ‘barber pod’ has been specially designed by the same company that has designed portable buildings for Costa and Starbucks. The barber pod covers about 16 car parking spaces and the interior has been decorated in the similar sleek style of our other shops.
There are photos of celebrities and iconic figures hanging on our walls. Barber chairs treat you to a comfortable seat whilst your hair is trimmed and styled by our experienced barbers.
The pod was brought to the supermarket at the beginning of the month and opened for business on the 3 July.
We had the honour of the mayor of Coventry visiting the opening ceremony and cutting the ribbon before we opened for business.
We hope from the success we have received so far from the new barber pod, we plan to open even more pods throughout the UK.
